Following are important points about Viruses
1-They are Acellular. Mean they are not like a typical cell
2-They are unable to multiply  outside living cell or host
3-Viruses are nothing but a genetic material covered by protein(nucleoproteins)
4-They are non-living outside host and living when enter host body 
5-They are obligatory parasites
6-Naked Virus or Virus genetic material is known as VIROID 
7-Wrongly folded protein of Virus known as Prions
8-Viroid and prion both are able to cause disease in Living cell
9-Viruses attack Animals,plants and bacteria
10-Protein covering of Viruses known as Capsid made up of small units of protein known as capsomere
11-Disease caused by Viruses are

·Covid-19
·HIV
·polio
·measles
